WORK LESS, STRESS LESS – 3 Tips to help you stay on track

When I am reminding myself of my beginning, I remember that my day to day list of things to do were quite balanced. I would always recommend keeping these steps of a strategic service process as sometimes there is a lot to do in a short space of time. When you are thinking about hopping into a similar kind of work, especially working from home and on the computer a solid to do list can help keep you on track.

  • Time keeping

First thing you should bear in mind is that you don’t need to work the whole day and whole night shift. If I were you, I would allow myself a good sleep and then set myself to study the subject of interest for about 2-4 hours per day. These 2 hours however do not need to be spent all together but you can split it into 2 phases. As for example you can study 1-hour morning and the next in the evening. Once you understand the bit’s you’ve studied you may spend about 3-6 hours of work in a day and really balance yourself. You still need to have lots of space to spend your day doing normal things

  • Make time for fun activities – not work related

I would recommend having a few activities during the day which keep you happy and entertained whether it is walking, cycling, meditation, practise of yoga or other kind of sport it also can be entertainment in form of spending time with friends and family. It can also be watching movies or favorite series. It can be even playing games whether PC or any other kind of games.

  • Socialise with other people & step away from your desk

Working from home and in isolation could get lonely so make sure you do something helpful and get socialized with your friends or other professional people besides just spending a day with study, work and play. You should always keep in mind that your body and spirit will be not satisfied unless you do something for someone else! Don’t forget about the importance of people around you. You can help your partner (or your mom) to tidy up, pay a visit to your close friends or visit someone ill in hospital or care home or help others with studies, cook or buy food for those who cannot afford it or do something which you think you are good at for someone else!

This is very important because when people start thinking that they really can help others it can drive your success forward faster. I think if you keep to these points you will become very successful and happy in life too!

Keep in mind this little bit of advice too that there is always another day, so you don’t need to take too much on yourself at once. There is no real opportunity which you will ever miss so calm your mind, bring in a few moments of peace and be ready for when chances do present themselves.
